CU’s online MAT degree programs include 30-42 hours of coursework and can be completed in 12-18 months. The curriculum is designed to prepare students with an in-depth understanding of best practices in education and strategies for assessment, classroom management, educational technology and more.
You’ll also complete field hours and a student teaching experience before graduating with initial certification to teach in Kentucky.
Is the MAT program fully online?
The MAT courses are fully online, delivered via Zoom on a weekly basis. The only in-person requirements for your degree will be field hours and student teaching.
