B.S. Liberal Arts & Science Overview
Acquire a well-rounded, general liberal arts and sciences degree from Campbellsville University. Build on your current background with eleven available concentrations so that you can customize your degree to suit your personal and professional goals. With this online program, you can choose from a variety of concentrations:

A maximum of 72 credit hours can be transferred into the program from a regionally accredited institution. If you have served in the U.S. military, 30 non-academic credit hours can be transferred for your service. Course Map
Our liberal arts and sciences degree consists of 120 credit hours of study and takes about four years to complete. General education courses make up 41 of the program’s credit hours, while each concentration includes 21 credit hours. An additional 58 credit hours of elective courses fulfill the remainder of the required credits. With maximum credits transferred, the program can be completed in about one year.
There are eleven concentrations available for the degree. Choose a concentration in business administration, Christian studies, criminal justice administration, mass communication or one of five social sciences.
The general education component of undergraduate degrees provides you with a basic understanding of a broad range of subjects. This supports the liberal arts emphasis of the university’s academic mission.
You must choose a total of 58 credit hours of elective courses to complete 120 credit hours required for the bachelor’s degree. 33 of the 58 elective credits must be upper level courses.

Admissions Requirements
To apply to Campbellsville’s liberal arts and sciences degree, prospective students must complete the following steps:
- Complete the online application.
- Submit official copies of transcripts from each college or university previously or currently attended, along with a complete record of all courses attempted, to the Office of Admissions.
- If transferring less than 24 credit hours, submit official high school transcript.
Costs & Financial Aid
The online liberal arts degree costs $424 per credit hour. In order to help students afford their education, Campbellsville University’s staff is available to work with students to discover available financial aid options.
Students can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to find out what scholarships, grants, loans and payment plans are available for them. There are numerous options available, and not all financial aid is based on need.
A maximum of 72 credits can be transferred from a regionally accredited institution. Students who have served in the U.S. military can transfer up to 90 credits. Those wishing to transfer credits from an associate degree can easily do so through Campbellsville University’s Transfer Scholarship.
