MSN, Nurse Educator Track Overview
The Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Educator track allows nurses to combine their passion for nursing and teaching. You’ll explore the curriculum development process, teaching and learning strategies, and assessment and evaluation techniques to design and deliver high-quality nursing education. The curriculum incorporates 240 clocked hours in didactic and clinical education so you can apply new knowledge and skills in practice.
This track integrates all of the National League for Nursing (NLN) Academic Nurse Educator Competencies and prepares you to sit for the NLN Certified Nurse Educator examination upon graduation.

- A BSN degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university
- Official transcripts from every college or university attended
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- A copy of your RN license (must be current, valid, unencumbered) or verification/validation from a state licensing board website/ Nursys®
- Provide evidence of clinical experience
- Three letters of recommendation
- Your enrollment counselor will provide you with the form necessary to complete this
- Completed Technical and Performance Standards document
- Once accepted, a background check will be required
Costs & Financial Aid
Tuition for the MSN Nurse Educator track costs $603 per credit hour. The total cost of the program is $22,900. To give students more support in funding their education, Campbellsville University is committed to working with students to identify and pursue available financial aid opportunities.
