National Association of Special Education Teachers
The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) offers programs that train individuals to become teachers who are involved with special education, which may include students who have emotional, behavioral and learning disorders. Through membership with NASET, teachers receive continuing education courses, American Academy of Special Education Professionals board certification, a special educator e-journal and a plethora of information about working with kids who have special needs.
National Association for Music Education

Education requirements for teachers vary by state, but every state requires that a teacher have a bachelor’s degree; complete a teacher prep program that may be part of a bachelor’s, master’s or alternative program; and acquire state licensure.
