M.A. Education – Teacher Leader Overview
Campbellsville University’s online M.A. in Education –Teacher Leader, Athletic Administration program prepares you with the skills and strategies needed to lead and mentor fellow faculty members. The program’s core curriculum explores a variety of leadership styles and supports educators in building the advanced student assessment expertise necessary for curriculum planning.
The online teacher leader program offers multiple options for tailoring your studies to support progress toward your professional goals. Educators interested in pursuing K-12 athletic director positions can earn the M.A. in Education –Teacher Leader, Athletic Administration, which combines the core curriculum with courses designed to build expertise in sport management, sport psychology, athletic facilities management and more. The following six professional specialty options are also available:

Admissions Requirements
To apply to Campbellsville University’s accredited online teacher leader program, prospective students must submit or complete the following**:
- The online application
- All official college transcripts from each college or university previously attended and/or currently attending
- 2.75 overall GPA from their undergraduate studies or a 3.0 in their last 30 hours
- Copy of teaching certificate
- One-page rationale essay for graduate study
**Some additional requirements will be requested upon acceptance into the program.
Costs & Financial Aid
The online teacher leader program costs $319 per credit hour. Campbellsville University staff members are available to support students in exploring financial aid options available to help pay for their education.
Students can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to find out what scholarships, grants, loans and payment plans are available for them. Our school code is 001959. There are numerous options available, and not all financial aid is based on need.
A maximum of 12 credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university can be transferred into this program.
