A.S. Business Administration Overview
Campbellsville University’s online associate degree in business administration offers you the opportunity to acquire foundational business skills so you can pursue a career in business administration. The 60-credit program teaches key areas such as marketing and microeconomics. You’ll also have two choices for a management course, as well as two options for a required internship. Through this program, you’ll be able to pursue entry-level business positions while gaining an understanding of the modern trends that are changing how businesses work.
With the online associate degree in business administration, you will get an introduction to the various accounting principles and concepts as they apply to for-profit organizations, such as financial statement interpretation and usage, managerial accounting systems and management concepts. You will also study the fundamentals of microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as the basic concepts and analytical tools utilized in finance. In addition, you’ll examine marketing concepts, human resource management, management principles and more.
This online business degree also requires an internship in either business administration or business information technology, in which you’ll gain professional, real-world experience. Student interns may work either in a management position, such as healthcare management or industrial administration, or within an office supervised and coordinated by a faculty member.

Our online associate degree in business administration is comprised of 60 credit hours with eight-week courses. The two-year program also has two elective courses, for a management class and an internship.
The General Education component of undergraduate degrees provides the student with a basic understanding of a broad range of subjects. This supports the liberal arts emphasis of the University’s academic mission.

Admissions Requirements
In order to apply to Campbellsville University’s accredited online associate degree in business administration, prospective students must submit or complete the following:
- Complete the online application
- Official college transcript and a complete record of all courses attempted from each college or university attended
- If transferring less than 24 credit hours, submit official high school transcript.
Costs & Financial Aid
The online associate degree in business administration costs $424 per credit hour. In order to help students afford their education, Campbellsville University’s staff is available to work with students to discover available financial aid options.
Students can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to find out what scholarships, grants, loans and payment plans are available for them. There are numerous options available, and not all financial aid is based on need.
Students can transfer a maximum of 32 credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university.
Transfer Friendly: You can transfer up to 16 credits of law enforcement training from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice.
