At Campbellsville University, our academic calendar runs from August 1 through July 31. We offer six start dates for our online degree programs, with dates in the spring, summer and fall. Below are a few important dates to keep in mind.

Transfer Scholarship
Campbellsville University’s transfer scholarship honors your educational journey with the opportunity to receive a $1,500 scholarship and priority admission to your degree program. Available to students from any of KCTCS’s 70-plus campuses, the transfer scholarship is only offered to students seeking a bachelor’s degree.
Tuition
Campbellsville University strives to make higher education affordable for all of its students. Tuition for our online programs varies by program and ranges from $346 to $424 per credit hour. With these competitive tuition rates, Campbellsville University is No. 2 in Kentucky and No. 6 in the South for the lowest rate of student debt.1
Credit Transfer Requirements
CU supports you with a seamless process for transferring your hard-earned college credits from KCTCS. You may transfer up to 72 credits toward any of CU’s bachelor’s programs, enabling you to earn your degree in as little as two years. Up to 24 credits may also be applied toward a degree based on military training and experience, and an additional 24 credits may be applied to free electives.
Before registering for courses, you will receive a tailored course roadmap that highlights the most efficient path to achieving your bachelor’s degree. We also provide a transfer evaluation to maximize your credit transfer, ensuring you receive the greatest possible credit toward your degree. For transfer credits to be approved, you must:
- Be in good standing and eligible to return to your previous campus
- Submit an official copy of your high school transcript to the Office of Admissions, unless your KCTCS transcript shows that you graduated high school
- Receive a D grade or higher in the courses you wish to transfer

Admission Requirements
CU makes it easy to apply for your online degree program. To apply as a transfer student:
- Complete the CU online application
- Provide official college transcripts for each institution attended reflecting all coursework attempted or earned. Only credits from regionally accredited institutions will be accepted
- Students who have earned 23 hours or fewer of college credits after high school graduation must also provide a final high school transcript
- Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
CU offers guaranteed admission to any KCTCS student who has earned an associate degree — just submit your official transcript.
Graduation Requirements
To earn your bachelor’s degree from CU, you must complete all of the university’s graduation requirements, which includes completing at least one-third of the course requirements in your majors, minors and areas of concentration through Campbellsville University.
