Work Wonders as a Social Worker

Prepare to make a difference in your local community with one of CU’s accredited online social work degrees.

As the demand for social workers increases, Campbellsville University’s online social work degrees prepare students to become the next wave of advocates to support communities. You can discover and pursue your passion, whether it involves preventing substance abuse, advancing geriatric mental health or improving the well-being of people and social groups. Each of our online social work degrees will teach you how to apply Christian servant leadership to your practice, and mission trips offer you the ability to gain hands-on experience doing what you love.

We offer two online social work programs within the Carver School of Social Work. The online BSW provides you with a strong foundation to help you enter the field as a caseworker or mental health assistant. Our accredited MSW program gives you the necessary skills for advancing your career and pursuing a leadership position in a variety of occupational pathways, including healthcare and education.

For all social work students, completion of a practicum is required. The practicum provides you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a supervised social work setting to practice the skills you learn in the courses, which are set forth by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Both programs’ well-rounded faculty members designed the degrees and have experience in many areas of social work, including human trafficking, substance abuse, addiction, mental health and sexual abuse.

Our online social work degrees are accredited by the CSWE and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
